Children Eye Exam

What to expect for your Child’s eye exam?

• Preschool Children  (4 to 5 years old): Beside nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism, preschool children will be tested for color vision, eye muscle strength, eye coordination, focusing ability, eye allergies and internal eye health.
• School Age: An eye exam is essential at this age for vision correction,  myopia control, reading efficiency, diagnosis of learning disabilities, eye infections, allergies, and the internal health of the eyes.According to the American Optometric Association, nearly 30% of school-age children have vision problems. Furthermore, about 80% of what children learn comes from their ability to properly see!
