State of the Art Digital Eye Imaging
Now Available at Family Eye Care of Roswell

Family Eye Care of Roswell is committed to providing our patients with the latest technology
and advanced diagnostic tools available in the eye care industry today.

Our office is among the first in North America to be equipped to take digital photographs of
your eyes.

Furthermore, the photographs establish a baseline medical reference to detect small early
changes within the eye structures in future eye examinations before these changes turn into
more serious eye diseases.

A few examples of situations when ocular imaging is important are as follows:

  • Crystalline lens opacities (cloudiness), called cataracts.

  • Corneal conditions such as neovascularizations (new vessel growth) &
    irregularities.

  • Dry eyes, and eye infections.

  • Patients with risk factors for glaucoma.

  • Retinal vascular diseases related to diabetes and hypertension.

  • Demonstrating and recording contact lens fitting, and contact lens deposits.
Communication of your condition to other medical practitioners involved in your
    care.

Ask us if Digital Ocular Imaging is indicated for you!
Computer digital pictures provide an accurate record of ocular
tissues by giving us a detailed view of the external structures
(cornea, iris, conjunctiva, lens and iris) of your eyes as well as
the internal structures (optic nerve, retina, and blood vessels).

We use this technology for documentation, monitoring, and
illustration of eye conditions.
